[s-cars] 255 wide tire fitment question - rubbing survey

O.k. S-heads,

A few weeks back a few listers mentioned that they had some slight 
rubbing when at full lock or in reverse using 255 width tires.  I'm 
just curious if everyone using 255 width tires experiences this, or if 
it is just a few?

If you do have some rubbing, where exactly is the contact taking place?  
What is the width of your wheel and what offset is it?  What suspension 
mods do you have?

If you don't experience any rubbing, what width of wheel are you using 
and at what offset?  What suspension mods have been made?

I'm trying to definitively pin down what does and doesn't work, and what 
effect offset has upon rubbing issues.  Any information on where 
exactly any rubbing contact takes place would be very helpful, as would 
any information from those of you running 255 width tires about how 
much room is availbale between the inside edge of the tire, the 
suspension components, and the inside fender.

Later this week I intend to get under the car and take some measurments 
of the front and rear wheel wells and how they relate to the wheel 
mounting surfaces to help fill out the information.  I'll be happy to 
share any information and conclusions with the list once I have figured 
everything out.
