[s-cars] 255 wide tire fitment question - rubbing survey

Sean,

I ran 255/40 17s with ET32 or ET35 wheels, Eibach/Bilstein 
suspension, and had no problem with body contact in the rear. I 
did have the right side reversing rub that many others have...it's 
the tread contacting the inner fender liner, and no big deal.

I'm about to go back to that same tire size on my '02 A6 3.0 
quattro wagon....
