[s-cars] Whats the best chipset for a full RS2

Dan,
The Mihnea chip is very different than the MTM in that it is
what I'll call smooth in its' delivery. The MTM was what I'd
call a switch type, it was on or off, no real in-between.
When Mihnea was tuning my car the first run was freakin'
awesome, it felt like it would keep pulling and never stop. In
a way he spoiled me, because in fact I think he was
overboosting the hairdryer. He dialed it all back so that the
damn thing wouldn't self destruct, it's all seemingly a very
flat constant delivery of power. I must admit howvever, that
this was a bit anti-climatic, as I enjoyed the kick in the
pants feel of the MTM programming, there was no doubt when the
boost was on with the MTM. The MRC programming is more
"stately", like not realiziing that you are going that fast
until you glance at the speedometer.
Boost varies depending on the gear and all sorts of other
things, but there are times when my peak boost stretches
beyond the markings of my VDO 25 psi gauge, so I'd estimate
the range to be between 22-27 psi.
I have only had the FMIC on for a little over a week and I
haven't had a chance to flog it, but I was not really
expecting it to make more power, only to keep making the power
I had on hand for a longer amount of time (delaying heat
soak), but I'm certainly not as technically saavy as some of
the others on the list.
I'm going to the VIR Driving School in a couple of weeks so
I'll have a better idea after that.
Good Luck.
