Buy a new one for the cost of turning???? So you can buy a new Audi crank
for less than $130? You can't even buy the valve stem cap on an Audi for
that much, can you?

You should be able to buy a crankshaft, new, from Audi for less than
it would cost to turn the current shaft and buy oversize bearings.
If that is not an option, look around for a used unit. That's what I
did, about 25,000 high boosting miles ago.
