that'd be fine and dandy, except i'm the one fixing the camry. either
i have to do it myself or i have to pay the mechanic to do it. i've spent
$1600 on that piece of crap in the past year.
the S4 avant is certified pre-owned and if anything starts acting up,
i'll take it to the dealer and let somebody else fix it. that was my
goal: get a nice, fun to drive car that can haul stuff and doesn't require
me to fix it.
i hate trucks, and if i got one, it'd just sit there. i'd much rather
drive the S4 avant. i don't need a tow vehicle right now because i have
not been racing a car for quite a while. the only races i've been doing
are the self-propelled kind (triathlon, duathlon, running), and the
S4 avant makes a great support vehicle for that kind of stuff.
if i have to choose between the S4 avant and the UrS4, the avant wins
because it can carry two bikes and a bunch of other stuff, it has
a great warranty and doesn't require me to fix anything, and it has
only 38k miles on it.
as much as i love the UrS4, i don't have the time to keep up with the
little things any more. and i don't want to let the car slowly deteriorate.
i do need to simplify my life.
i plan on getting rid of one or two more cars soon. anybody want to buy
a '92 spec miata?
