Thanks. This guy knows what he is doing. The ECU has already been replaced
by a Motec, and everything is logged, checked and controlled. I'm sure
he'll lower the compression before starting.
FWIW, he is currently modifying my UrS4 to run with a Motec instead of the
Motronic ECU. As this is a development project, it's taking a little while,
with various unpexcted glitches. Motec had to rewrite the software for the
particular Motec unit needed to support the 5 coils, as that model didn't support
the number of teeth on the ring gear of the S4--this delayed things a couple
of weeks while they rewrote the software....
but completion is expected in a little over a week. I'll report on the results.
