Heh.  Reminds me of of riding with Mom as a small child.  After
driving the '68 Beetle for a few days and then getting back in the
mammoth '76 Ford LTD Wagon, she would occasionally push in the
(non-existent) clutch as we slowed at intersections.  Those old wagons
had 6 or 7 inch wide brake pedals, and her "clutch action" would hit
the left side of the brake pedal.  Anyone remember how touchy those
brakes were?  Of course, she would lock all four wheels for a second
every time.  This behavior would take the better part of the day to
correct.  Good times.

Back on topic, I agree with Bob.  Get the stick shift...or better yet
a 95.5 Avant :-)

Sounds like comments from someone that has never driven a manual
transmission car.  As we all know, it's all second nature.  No thinking
involved..  Hell, when I drive a rental car I usually find myself
pressing on a non-existant clutch out of habit.
