Sam,

The 1 yellow/3 blue springs on your sedan are for a sports suspension.
The 1 orange/1 green springs on the avant are not.  The sports springs
for the avant are listed as 1 silver/2 violet.  So, I would think that
the springs from your sedan are stiffer than those on your Avant.
Furthermore, I would think that if you found a set of Avant sport
springs they would be stiffer still.  

As if a '93 Avant was not enough of a clue, the above is for the
European & Rest of World market, not for the majority of us that are in
the North American market.  So, the rest of you, don't go looking at
your spring paint codes.
