[s-cars] Resurfacing Dual Mass Flywheel

I'm doing a clutch job on my 1997 S6 and have heard that the dual mass 
flywheel cannot be re-surfaced. But others have had it done by certain machine 
shops.

I think it comes down to the skill of the machinist.

Any recommendations or BTDT?
