I love my Nokain RSi's. On stock Fuchs in stock tire size fitment. I'd
rather have gotten some 7" wide wheels and 205 series tires, but I had
the stock wheels already. I've driven my car on a frozen lake bed:

at a Vermont Car Club ice racing day, and the RSi's were great on
almost glare ice. I've had studded Hakka 2's before on my Coupe
quattro, and was not please with the sound and grip on dry surfaces
with them. But they were unstoppable in snow (the Coupe short wheel
base helped)

For the most part, my '92 S4 is the best I have ever driven on ice (decidedly better than my friends '01 BMW 325ix and worlds apart from my 1991 Dodge Caravan AWD:) ), but I want more. Right now, I have Pirelli PZero Nero M+S tires and was contemplating getting some snows. The two tires I have narrowed it down to are Nokian Hakkas and Bridgestone's WS-50. Anyone have anything good or bad to say about either? Any recommened rim sized to put them on? Thanks.
