There would be the fit of the Starter to consider.  ??   There really isn't 
any way to change or adjust that.    But if the ring gear is the same 
diameter... and the thickness of the flywheel is the same...   then maybe it 
would work.    But if the depth of the flywheel and pressure plate combo is 
bigger or smaller, then you might have issues with the slave cylinder. 
You'd almost have to look at them side by side and see what is different.
