[s-cars] Wiper blade question...

Yes, the OEM blade is curved "upwards", but toward the rear of the car
when its in the parked position - think of the x-axis rather than y. I
figure its designed to "scoop" the water as it travels across the
windshield.

The aftermarket replacement Bosch blades are not curved, but I'm sure
they would be fine.

I change my wipers about every 6 months with the refills (rubber bit) -
that way I keep the OEM metal shell which has the spoiler on the
driver's side and the curve on the passenger. I also treat it with
Rain-X too.
