Yes, that helps.   I'll have to try to order that part.    

How did you deal with the clamps?   Cut them off and replace them with screw types?

    In the Bentley diagram (link below) this is the area of items 5, 6 and 7.
    4 - Evaporative Emission (EVAP) canister purge regulator valve -N80- 
    5 - To connection on intake manifold, lower Throttle Body (TB) flange 
    6 - Check-valve 
    7 - To crankcase housing breather 

  #5... the rubber "T" is usually the culprit.  I've replaced my own, and a couple on other folks cars.  And no... it isn't too fun to get at... and the part is typically not easy to find.
