[s-cars] Window magically winds down on its own.

Hi All

Well some serious progress has been made - thanks to Franco and his
wiring diagrams.
The car is in fact a '97 spec model (WAUZZZ4AZVN etc), and no - there
aren't any additional control modules other than the one attached to the
bottom of each motor.
And there aren't any wiring faults, shorts etc.
The problem is in fact the control module. Replacing the faulty one with
one from another window seems to completely solve the problem - and in
fact shifts the problem to the 'other' window. When intermittently
faulty - the unit sits there clicking trying to raise the window to no
avail. Removing power to it then clears the fault until it happens
again. Locking the doors and using the autoclose windows function also
seems to clear it.

In searching NZ for a replacement module, it seems that you can only buy
them complete with the motor etc for $1000's ( typical NZ dealers spares
prices !).

Does anyone have any other suggestions ? Are they available Stateside
separately - or does anyone know who else may have something? As a
ffrequent traveller to the US, getting it shouldn't be too hard.

Thanks

Ian
