[s-cars] Weird boost issue - resolved (maybe?)

I'm almost ashamed to tell. My first thought as the cause of the
boost loss was a leak in the MAP line at the ECU/water trap
region. Tore into it and found absolutely nothing suspicious. Nope
- obviously no leaks there. So what's the problem? Sticking WG
valve? Failed WGFV? Well, working on the hoses and replacing
everything near the ECU will cost maybe $10 or so and a little of my
time and anything else will be over $100 so lets do some cheap
"repairs" before I start spending real money. Thinking they were
alright and that I was probably wasting time and effort, I replaced
all the rubber portions of the MAP hose anyway and went for a test
drive. YeeHaaaa! Boost is back!
I examined the pieces removed and see no faults but swapping it out
gave me boost so... ???? Either there was a leak there that I still
can't find or I somehow accidentally "fixed" something else.
