are you talking about an aftermarket gauge?

my '92 has a digital boost gauge from the factory. no
aftermarket boost gauge. i still suspect something in
the hoses that connect to the ECU through the moisture
trap, because the symptoms seemed to improve when i fiddled
with them. i haven't checked the green plastic hose closely
yet, but that'll be on my list of things to do when i take
another shot at fixing this.
