Baby girl #3 is due for me on April 29, 2006.
This means big car changes for me. I currently use my 911 as my daily
driver, with 2 kids seats in the back. And a 3rd kid seat just isn't
going
to fit. So soon the S6 will be my daily driver, and the wife will be
getting
a minivan. I'm sure going to miss driving a 911 everyday, but at least
I'll
be driving another fun car in the S6.

RE: 911 daily driver mit kiddie seats...
Wow Dave YOU are my HERO.
I almost went down that road, before I bought the //S I was seconds away
from a 964 C4. Jen was pregnant a week later and the rest is history (I
guess I was celebrating the thought of the impending Carrera 4 - d'oh!).
I *did* briefly ponder if the kiddie seats would have fit and if snows
on the AWD system would make it a drivable winter car but ultimately
bagged the thought.
GOOD FOR YOU for actually doing it. You rule, I love hearing that. 3
girls tho... get a guy dog and hope your garage is ready for you heh
heh! Yikes!
Baby round up huh??? Oh I'm sure I got babies all over the 50 states.
D'oh, and, bwha! Seriously, I guess only have 3 kids here, that I know
of at least 8-).
Dave, see my email from yesterday about 3 baby seats in the UrS. 4
years later (come 2/06), a booster and 2 rear facing BABY seats fit
(ones that snap into strollers) in my '95 sedan, but it's TIGHT. This
setup SURELY provides successful Johnny Law avoidance, I think they see
them and foolishly think I'm responsible or something. Oh, a double
stroller does fit in the trunk which is impressive.
Anyway, soon as the forward facing seats go in, my UrS days will be
numbered though. Hence the quest for der //S8 maybe, we'll see. To
those who said why not C5 //S6 Avant... hmmm, less power, more weight
(Teddy you cited the sedan's weight in your comparison to me btw), less
'class' and less car overall (IMO), and the wife's got an ML so needie
wagon really.
Again, we'll see. Where'd I plant that damn $$$ tree anyway???
-Paul don't know nuthin about Brooklyn K.
ps. did the Recaro baby seat GP'er miss my Britax post??? Bring one
each to your local install cop and confirm fer yerself...
