[s-cars] Oil pressure issues

I had a similar issue on my 91 200. The pressure kept getting lower and
lower. I was using a Fram  filter. Replaced it with a Mann filter....problem
resolved. Maybe it was just one defective filter but,,,,I don't use Fram no
mo.

Coming home from work this morning in my '93 S4 a warning censor
beeped.Couldn't tell what for because my warning indicator screen is
defunct, but did show 3 red lines across screen...Hmmm ...Then noticed my
oil pressure gauge at 2 bar.
On start up it always pegs at 5 but have never seen it at 2 under normal
driving conditions..oil level fine...Could my oil pump be going?? figured i
would see gauge fluctuate if pump has issues...am going to let engine cool
for several hours before restart to watch gauge and see if I get a 5
reading...
