Stock springs, Dave. I was surprised how much difference stiffening up the
shocks made.

  What springs are you using?  More bounce = more bump steer due to
alignment changes through the wheel travel, especially if the car is too
low.  Stiffening the Konis up would reduce the amount of travel over a given
bump.

  But you're right... the best bet is caster.
