My son's first car was a 1990 Audi 200 he drove senior year in high school.
At first he resisted driving a "big fat pig" but changed his mind after kids
in school thought it was a "cool car".  He also quickly figured out that it
was faster than almost all cars the other kids were driving.  And a Quattro
in winter with 4 snow tires made Dad sleep a lot better.

Oh, shortly after I upgraded my Coupe GT to an S4...
