when we, as a group, are talking safe to drive, do we mean:
   a) safe to crash,
   b) easy to drive,
   c) or good to learn in?

a vehicle such as a pickup with little weight over the rear wheels
falls into category "c" IMHO. add to that wet farm roads with caked
clay and you've got my worst case learning experience. I learned
pretty quickly that more is not better: power, braking, steering
(choose one or many) in such conditions. add hills and a real winter
and you suddenly get some really good, young age driver training.

add a '63 Chevy Impala with a '68 Corvette crate motor in it and
you've got some insane fun...
