The switch is the second connection on the block past the thermostat,
according to the bentley guide. Here is the exerpt for testing it.
Turbocharger Coolant (TC) thermal switch and turbocharger coolant
pump, checking

 - Run engine until engine coolant temperature gauge indicates more
than 100 C (212F). Cover radiator if necessary.

 - Stop engine.

 - After approx. 5 minutes, electric turbocharger coolant pump and
radiator coolant fan must switch on.

If electric turbocharger coolant pump and radiator coolant fan do not run:

 - Disconnect wires to TC thermal switch and connect to each other.

 - Electric turbocharger coolant pump and radiator coolant fan must run.

If turbocharger coolant pump and radiator coolant fan run:

 - Replace TC thermal switch -F98-.

If turbocharger coolant pump and radiator coolant fan do not run:

 - Eliminate malfunction using wiring diagram.

My Wiring diagrams are .pdf..so i can send them to you individually if you wish.

Cheers,
Brian
