Dear Archivehoar:

Domo Oregato Mr. Rossato ordered them from his Wurth rep. Something
like $0.50 and $0.70 each for the ones needed.

Domo?

Credit Bob for again being, and as always, Da Man. The install is OE
clean!

Congrat's PK!

for the benifit of the group and future archiving hoaringness.... can
you let us know where, how much, and what exactly you ordered from
Wurth? at the time I couldn't seem to find the proper connectors, I
think it was Bob that sent me a few spares but they turned out to be too
big. The dealer only provides the connectors already crimped to a 1 foot
piece of wire, they don't sell them connectors alone anymore.

/Jamu.

Echoing Baloney's post months and moons ago, 5 new coils is oh so nice.
I finally ended 5+ months of misfires, coil splicing, swapping, etc.
this weakend. Why do one when the other 4 will only assuredly follow
suit I say.

Thanks to Rossato for accepting nothing less than OE for the crimps, a
package of connectors from Wurth and what's good enough for NASA is now
good enough for Bob and my car. No splicing here no way. And using his
coil pack laid out next to mine provided a useful 'roadmap' to ensure
proper layout, made the job real easy.

BTW... these suckers were in fact $95 from Tim LeClair / FAP...
***including new connector boots***. Schweet.

Man what it's like to rekindle that love 'o boost once again. Quickly I
realize how addictive stomping the loud pedal out of the hole is
again... quickly I realize how important bigbrakes are again...
quickly I realize how much I miss being able to take *any* move you want
anytime in traffic again... and well, quickly I realize how big a
totalgiganticassehole I drive like again. Whoops.

Shurrrre feels good to have it back. And now I have a highly calibrated
sphincter (HCS) for determining coil vs. POS. vs. fuel pump vs. fuel
pump regulator vs. vs. plug vs. ECU fuse failures, as, well, I've
sphincted them all now individually.

Thinking these coils will last me another 153k... and outlast the rest
of the POS car. Excellent.

Oh hey Tommy Pollock... thanks for the loaner coil pack... I'll host
another Gathering of Fools soon enough here, hopefully I can get it back
to you then.
