[s-cars] Couple of questions

Hi Brian;
The main fan should come on after a hard run on a hot day. If it doesn't,
turn on the AC with the engine running; the fan should start. If it doesn't
run with the AC on, the fan isn't working. The UrS cars tend to fry the fan
harness connector, so that's the first place I'd look. It's hidden under a
body clip near the intercooler.
The aux coolant pump doesn't seem to run too often. You can test it by
shorting the temp sensor terminals. It is quiet when it runs, so it's easy
to miss.

Subject: [s-cars] Couple of questions
Some newbie questions for you all:
When I shut my car down after a hard run, should the main fan come on?
When I used to shut down my '89 200q and '86 5Kt, the big fan would
always come on as soon as I shut down my car.
Also, when should the aux coolant pump cycle on with the S4?
Lastly,
When sorting through my large collection of type 44 goodies, I came
acorss a wastegate srping with light green markings painted on it.
Anyone have a clue if I can use this to obtain moore boost?
Thanks,
Brian
