Well, it's true.

The 5 speed is indeed self healing. Not 2 weeks after (very little driving) the blown 2nd shift, slam against the synco ordeal the tranny shifts like there was never an issue.

It just all of a sudden worked perfectly late Friday night.. :-)

I will be more careful with my clutch foot in the future though, it was a good scare.
