[s-cars] RS2 Exhaust Manifold Wanted

I guess I am not the only fool who sold them...:)

Yes those turbos look very interesting and obviously the guys making the big numbers use those voodoo turbos but from the posts that I have seen the install doesn't seem to be as plug and play as the rs2.

Of course having less turbo lag would be very desirable.

Maybe I just need to find a different mechanic? - my guys, C&S Auto in Mamaroneck NY, are great with older audi's but not very mod-friendly.

Also, do they require customized software? Or will the standard MTM, MRC, etc. work too?

Dave

Dave,

The question I have to ask... (Yes, I did the same... got the Turbo and the
manifold in the last GB and then sold them later in a fit of madness) Why
would I (or anyone) pay $1500 or more for an RS2 turbo when 034efi makes so
many good alternatives!

I will likewise be in the market for another manifold shortly.

James

Hi Mark,

No problem.

I actually bought one during Alex's last group buy and in a moment of
stupidness I sold it and an RS2 turbo that I bought during the other (TJM)
group buy.

If I remember correctly when I called around before getting into the EM
group buy it seemed that nobody actually had them in stock.

So I'm in. (And also in the market for a RS2 turbo as well)

Alex is at $950 on his site. Blau's site is a tad confusing for me but they
were at more or less the same price IIRC. Sorry for the lack of precision
Dave. To make myself feel better I round down :-)

Regards,

P.S. I am a definite "IN" for GB.

Hi Mark,

Where have you seen them for $900?

That is almost the group buy price from a year or so ago.

Alex, I wonder if enough interest in another group buy?

I would be interested.

Other than the regular sources, anybody have a line on one below the full

retail of @ $900 USD?

Regards,

Mark
