Subject: [s-cars] Time for a new battery

The barrtery in my 95 S6 is giving up the ghost. Had to jump or trickle
charge it the last 2 days. Put a meter on it and it's only holding about
11v. So, I'm looking at a new Optima Red top or Yellow top battery. From
what I can tell, there are 3 red tops that might fit - dimensions were
11"w x 7"d x 7-5/8"h (including terminal posts). The 3 models seem to be
the Group 7525, Group 25, and Group 35.

I know others on the list have used the Optima batteries. What models
worked best? What modifications did you have to do?

TIA<
