Check the drains in the plenum (under the hood, under
the plastic cover at the base of the windshield). They
become clogged with debris, and let water follow wiring
into the cabin. See:

Clogged sunroof drains are another common fault. Some
people have used stiff weed wacker cord to chase the
tubing clean.
