I'd be hard pressed to believe water vapor. The room would have to be
very humid to begin with. There's also not a lot of vacuum being
pulled - e.g. they've got combustion air coming in.

perhaps it's water injection. Those are injectors and I'd just presume
that mist to be fuel. OTOH, having that much fuel vapor under the
covers could lead to some nasty fires and we've not seen that in F1
lately.
