Dave,

Yes, the power is there for a moment but the stock intercooler does get heat
soaked after a couple of hard pushes, and then there is less.

I will be making an intercooler improvement in the near future.  What you
all saw was a "proof of concept" exercise for the engine work only.

But just to make your head hurt, at our September Vancouver-Seattle
UrS-car run to Leavenworth WA, Ned Ritchie showed up with his 500 hp 92
spec S-car, aka "The Beast".  Ned is still running the stock
intercooler.
