Cody,
I have one of the 044 Bosch pumps and plan to mount it in the
coupe soon. It is much larger than the stock urs pump but when I talked
to Ray @ s-cars he said he just slit the housing and widened it to fit
the pump in his car. There were also a few small things that you needed
but sounded easy. The pumps are very expensive but I found mine in the
uk. There was a guy selling them used for $100. They were used on rally
cars for one race then replaced. There are a few guys on the S2 list
running this pump with over 500hp so I think it will be fine.

Anyone running this pump alone as a replacement to the stock
fuel pump
on a 400+ WHP car? I know Hap has used this pump in-line with
an
underhood fuel reservoir but I don't think I need to go to that
level w/
the reservoir and my goals. I just need to have my options open
in
diagnosing my decrease in fuel pressure issue under WOT.
Javad has also suggested using one of his External Pumps in-line
with
the stock Fuel pump...anyone done this? Where did you locate
it?
Finally still need to hard wire my stock fuel pump to make sure
I am
getting full voltage per Dave F's suggestions.
Experiences and/or Suggestions?
Thx
Cody
