I believe Igor posted a how-to about 1 year ago in his usual detailed manner
which did not require exhaust removal. I could not find the post but
perhaps Igor can resend it when he has a free moment.
Regards,
Mark
P.S. How is the not so new addition to the household Igor?

Thanks Rich, actually I'm pulling the rear subframe anyway to install a
92-spec subframe with roll bar.

The rear diff is not a fun project. Yes, the exhaust has to come off,
probably easiest to separate it mid-car at the slip joints. I did
manage to do it without pulling the rear subframe, but it wasn't easy.
Good luck,
Rich

I have a V8 differential on its way (thanks to Uncle Bob) and will be
installing myself. Do I need to drop the exhaust to re/re the
differential?
If so, what point of the exhaust is the best place to do this? Any BTDT?
Not looking forward to wrestling with rusty exhaust parts.
Thanks,
Sean Douglas
