There are a number of cars that appreciate in value....I think the bottom of
the "bathtub" in value is about 20-25 years.  After that, if they are in
good shape and a good model, they start coming up in value again.

I paid $23,500 10 years ago for a California 1992 with 49K miles on it.
Finally a car that appreciates in value.
