No Audi specific application AFAIK, but you mentioned "cooling" so, for some
interesting cooling theory take a look at RacingBrake's rotors ~
www.racingbrake.com ~> the two piece rotor & custom hat assembly in
particular.  Don't know if they would do a hat kit up for the UrS +993
Calipers or not.

I've been looking around for any track/racing application
feedback/experience on these.  If you come across any on the net, I'd be
interested in looking at it.

2nd, FWIW 3R make a thin, titanium back backing plate for use with various
styles of calipers.  The claim is the thin, you could almost say "shim"
secondary backing plate will substantially reduce heat transfer from the
pads into the pistons and from there, caliper and brake fluid.  Don't know
if that's a fact, but that's the claim in any event.
