Hmmm, that's interesting to know. What model tire are you running?
When I swapped in a few 255 tires/wheel combos last summer (one ET38 and
two ET35) I found a big difference in tire widths when measured. One
255 width tire was actually 11mm and 8mm wider than the other two 255
tires.

One of the ET35 combos rubbed the fender liner, the other ET35 was
close, and the ET38 had the most clearance. My measurements at the time
indicated an ET40 wheel would offer the best clearance with 255 tires,
and would most closely maintain the factory track of the car.

One of the European listers (I'd have to check who) wrote back last
summer to tell me he had run 265 tires on ET40 wheels in the past on his
S-car. From my measurements I'm not sure how that was managed (does the
S6+ have differing suspension/wheel parts from other S-cars)?

Since I'm planning on picking up some new wheels this year, any issues
such as clearance with the tie rod ends would be good to know about.
