[s-cars] Switchblade Remote question

Hi Sean;
The original remotes supplied with the '97 S6 did not come with a trunk
release feature. The "3" as a final digit in the FCCID code indicates no
trunk release. The "4" in the switchblade code indicates a trunk release,
hence the extra button.
As for range, the IR remote on my S4 is good for ~6 feet, so I expect the 15
feet from the switchblade will be a major improvement :)

Hmm, the OEM remote supplied with my car were only 2 button and did not
control the trunk. But, they were replacements when I bought the car
used and it wouldn't surprise me if the dealer bought the wrong ones.
