As others have said, the dealer may or may not give you
the code.  They tend to want to see the radio in the car, 
to be sure the radio wasn't stolen, and then charge you 
to remove the radio to get the serial number to get the 
code. A friendly dealer will let you remove the radio
yourself, and then look up the code for you for cheap.

Before going that route, I'd try a "generic" code in
hope that it was reset at some point in the past. Try
0000, 1111, 1234, ... you may get lucky.
