Hi Craig;

If you mark the position of the upper mount, you can re-assemble it in the
same orientation and not change the alignment. I've been doing this
successfully for a number of years. I'm on my second set of free Konis,
having worn out (after umpteen adjustments) the previous set.

  ***Actually, it's only a two point strut pull. The fronts can be adjusted
in 15
  minutes per side by pulling the top shock mount and going in through the
top
  of the strut. You have to pull the rear struts and disassemble them to
  adjust the rears.

  Thanks Fred for the clarification. Still a pretty inconvenient
"adjustability" - also requiring a trip to the alignment shop to boot. On
the plus side - at least for the cars I have previously run them on - I
hardly ever had to adjust them, even for track days.
