Eric:
The reason why its not listed is that is a european-spec part. The
posting on AW is incorrect, its M12x1.5x25. I actually ordered these
about 2 years ago from Europrice, but they have since stopped carrying
these items.
The bolt is quite unique, it's a socket head cap screw, 8.8 grade. I
tried my darnest to find one stateside, but it seems the 1.5 thread
pitch is unusual in a socket head. Coincidently, I just ordered a pack
of 25 M12x1.5x25mm bolts with the regular head from McMaster Carr as I
am removing my brakes and brackets to do some suspension work. These
bolts are listed as one-time-use and should be replaced every time.
You have three options:
1. Order the original factory bolt from your local Audi dealer (35 mm
long) and cut it down to 25 mm.
2. Order the RS2 bolt from europe.
3. Pick up a similar bolt locally (as I did).
If you elect for option 3, I can send you 4 bolts if you pay for
postage.
Cheers,
Sean
