100% agree on Lexol for leather. After cleaning with the Lexol leather
cleaner, a tip to apply the conditioner is to spray about 2-3 squirts in
your hands, rub together then apply with your hands. This is better than
using a cloth or sponge as it really easy to get into the nooks and
crannies.
I was told by a leather shop that one should condition leather a least 4
times per year, even more. This keeps the leather supple and plump and
makes it resistant to cracking. Once dried out and cracked, it almost
impossible to bring it back.
BTW, the same leather shop reconditioned my seats front and back, looks
almost brand new. Even the drivers seat looks good. They spray on a
colour-matched (ecru) dye and let it dry. It was the best $150 I spent.
