Why would you not recommend one the ball bearing jobbers, Dave?

If you choose to use a Garrett, I would suggest an "old" journal bearing
T3/T04E hybrid... a 50 trim cold side with a stage 2 wheel on the hot side.
This setup responds quickly, and make good top end power.  With the
"typical" RS2 software, injectors, and EM, it will make about 335whp... and
about 360whp with an FMIC.

MTM stage II+ (sold by hoppen motorsports as hoppen stage II+).

so it's got the chips, 3 bar pressure transducer, and RS2 exhaust manifold.

i can't complain about the stock turbo.  it was making quite a bit
more boost than stock, and it lasted 137k miles.  now it's time to
put it out to pasture.
