Gentlemen:

I decided to poke around a while with the searching of the archives.  I had
trouble with this some time back, before I installed my FMIC.  And even
before then, with installing the boost gauge.

What I wanted to find this time was a max/steady state boost number for MRC
stage 2.  I get about 22-23psig max, 18-20psig steady state.  FMIC, Samcos,
Hyperboost BPV, if that info makes any difference.  (Does it?)

I have come to the conclusion that I have to download all the archived
s-list mail and put it into a Word document.  Then search from there.
Neither Google nor Yahoo searches turn up any kind of reasonable results,
even when I give the URL of the list archive as a limiting parameter.

Something has happened to the archives in the past few months to render them
invisible to regular searches.  What sucks is that after Teddy gave me great
advice on how to search the archives, and I had been gleaning great info
from past wisdom, I am again in the dark.  It's like having fast internet,
then going back to dial-up.

[shudder]

In essense, there are two questions here - the boost question, and the
searching question.  While the boost question is somewhat important (I may
have a fueling problem), the search question might answer the boost
question!
