Teddy,
I watched on of your "brokers" buy an absolutly gorgeous black pearl effect
/ black RS 6 about a month ago in Dulles, VA. Only problem was that the
nose, right front door had been repaired and painted. I asked him about it
and he said his customer wouldn't know the difference. The repair was done
very well. I happen to know this fellow; a reseller who operates off his
dining room table using a "friends" dealer plate. Not only a little sleazy,
but if the state was aware of it, they would pull the "friends's" dealer
plates.
The only ax I have to grind is the all too often used reference to the local
'"stealer". That is a term term that obviously is used by someone whose boss
charges his customers no more than the employees salary for the employee's
work; NOT likely.
Did any of you know that in order for a frachised Audi dealer to be licensed
to sell the RS 6 in 2003, he had to pay an amzing amount of money to Audi
for the tools, tech updates, tech schools, etc, etc?. Our local dealer had to
pay over sixty grand for the priveledge; after which Audi alloteed him two
units.Hmm, do the math.
DF
