I should have posted the explanation too, you're right.

But I tell people what I pay for my cars, what I put into them, and overhead
assigned to each car (G&A, time, materials like carfax&paint meter, etc),
and then what I need to charge to be profitable and remain in business. They
can take it or leave it.

So far, so good.
