[s-cars] Replacing a CV joint - Part 2

Hey guys,

Thanks a lot for all of the instructions/ tips. Sorry I forgot to mention
that it was the front driver's side outer cv joint. Anyway I did the method
of keeping the half shaft on the car mainly because I do not have the 12
point triple square bit to take of the inner. It all went fine and I got to
the point where I have everything back together and I need to fit the cv
joint into the hub. My problem is that even if I turn the wheel all the way
to the right I still do not have enough clearance to get the cv joint in,
even though I got it out this same way, it is very VERY close to getting
back in but just wont go. Are there any tricks for getting more clearance?
or is it necessary for me to take off the inner part of the shaft? Would
taking the control arm off be an easy option? I only need a few more mm to
get the cv joint back in and I am looking for the easiest, quickest option.

Thanks,

Chuck
