[s-cars] Intermittent bulb out indicator

I believe it was grey... about an inch or slightly less in width, and about a 1/4 inch thick. It has probably a dozen .5mm wires going in to it. It plugs in to the center of the dash panel.

It is a female connector that slips over small male pins. On mine, it was the female part that was no longer making a tight connection. I "adjusted it" with a jeweler's screwdriver.

Good luck,
Dave

Dave,

Do you remember which connector it was? Did you just clean it?
There is a few connectors in there :)

Ivan,
I experienced a similar nightmare with my autocheck... even to the point of defeating the whole system at the fuse panel, and it STILL came on. Ultimately, it turned out to be the connector on the back side of the dash that was causing the issue. You might want to check there next.
