Chris,

The service guy that handled this (the suit, not the mechanic) said
that it was not the motor itself, but the electrical portion of the
unit.  When the window was in the full down position and the "down"
side of the switch was pressed, there was an audible click from the
motor/regulator.  When the "up" side was pressed, nothing.  That is
why the guy said that it was the regulator portion, not the motor that
was bad.
