Have you tried calling the dealer? If you ask for "floor mats for a
1992-1997 S4/S6/100/A6 they will tell you they are NLA as they have been
removed from the accessory catalog. But if you quote the proper part number,
you *may* be able to order them.

 

Front: 4A1 061 601 xxx

Rear: 4A1 061 611 xxx

 

xxx - colour code, P44 = ecru, E90 = black

 

I ordered a front set about a year ago.

On a related note, I just had some custom mats made up with "S6" embroidered
in Red on the front mats.

I tried to get the supplier to use Lloyds, but of course they refused. I
ended up with a set made by Avery's, the colour matches perfectly (ecru) and
they have the proper holes for the floor posts.

The only thing that I didn't like is the edge is not done as nicely as OEM,
but it is acceptable.

The retailer is http://www.roadworksauto.com/ and if anyone is interested,
the color code for ecru is 350-Sand.

BTW, if you want the 4 rings, why not just buy the OEM ones?

Hi Y'all,

A while back there was some discussion of four ringed floor mats for 
our cars.  I _may_ have found someone to do some custom 
embroidery.  I haven't contacted them yet but if someone has found 
high quality carpet mats to fit the cars let me know the source and 
I'll see what I can do to arrange for some mats to be made.  I will 
need a good gif or jpeg for the embroidery pattern if someone can 
send that as well.
