[s-cars] Recommend new clutch please

Tony:

I recommend a stock clutch. This is what I did and even with RS2 power
levels, its fine.

If it's a daily driver and you don't plan on trips to the drag strip, then
the stock clutch is more than adequate.

You will notice a huge difference in pedal effort too (lighter).

The stock clutch is made by Luk and can be had for less than $300 USD, BTW
if you come across an Exedy clutch, it's a repackaged Luk.

At the same time consider doing the slave cylinder and transmission mounts.

Howdy folks,

Feels as if the clutch is coming to end of life. Wondering if there is a
clutch out there that the learned group recommends. My S6 has MRC Stage 2,
though I now have a short shift!

I'm not planning on any RS2 upgrades (unless there are any out there that
are VERY cheap).

Thanks in advance.

Tony
96 S6 - with a very high bite point!
