Teddy-
I didn't know you had easy access to these parts in case something breaks-
to me,
it's always a PITA if you break something and don't have the parts to fix it
right away.
I don't know if it's the turbo nuts or the manifold nuts that are some
exotic material-
titanium alloy, I think?
IMHO, you don't really need the turbo to spool as fast as the K24 as long as
it spools
as fast as an aggressively tuned RS2 setup. Uncle Bob's RS2 setup spooled as
quickly as my '91 200q20v w/ Lehmann chipset (the 2.5 bar setup with
distributor is nowhere
near as quick at ramping up boost as the UrS 3 bar setup with direct
ignition) but pulled
a heck of a lot harder and for much longer.
I'd actually want an RS2 equivalent spool up time with a little more top end
and efficiency
so you don't have to boost to 26psi to get that 370hp number.
Taka
